I've enjoyed this band a lot. At first it sounds a lot like the bands mentioned by Zad in the review but if you keep listening you'll hear that they are quite unique. They deserve much more attention than they're getting now. And go read about them, their story is very interesting and they're quite intelligent people.

Great job on bringing attention to this hidden gem Zad.

Still need to get this, though. :P

I love this band. It's also not a "chinese violin". It's an erhu and it has more in common with a cello or another up-right stringed instrument than a violin. The erhu work on the album is great, though, and adds some great feeling.

Props for Azathoth. I'a i'a.

Ah, yes, well pointed out. Pity it was so hard to make out, but I suppose if they'd have made it too obvious the effect wouldn't be the same.

This album is incredible. Definitely better than Dimmu and possibly one of the best symphonic metal bands and worthy of being compared to Emperor.

The only negative is that the drums sometimes just are too repetitive and blasting at times but then the female vocals come and everything is better.
