No they're not:P

They're probably making the worst kind of music I have ever listened to.

That's quite a statement. Admittedly, their new stuff isn't really good at all, but they indeed are awesome. The eponymous song of the album I just bought is blistering.

And their bassist still rules.

Yep, their bassist is decent... wasting his talent imo. I just can't take it. Maybe its the new stuff I've heard then

If it sounds like dull radio Alternative rock, it probably is their new stuff.

Listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jwO4NbP ... re=related One of the best songs they've written if you ask me.

If that doesn't do it for you, I don't think anything will. They excel at writing Nu Metal with Proggy tinges with occasional splashes of Mathiness. It's really good stuff.

I agree. The bassist is sick. Tough to call them nu-metal, too, because they're much more than that.

Progressive nu-metal?

And metal_xxx has no idea what Mudvayne sounds like. He's talking out of his ass. Before declaring it the worst music he's ever heard, he likely had only heard one song—"Dig"—that he could barely remember.

Oh fuck off. What do you know? Stop making conclusions on behalf of others, I know my music and wouldn't make any comment if I had not heard quite a few songs by them. In my ears they suck. I was probably a bit harsh in my statement but they still suck..

And so do you;)

Come on, man. Your comments are so vague. If someone truly knew enough about Mudvayne, wouldn't they have a bit more to say than "I don't know what it is... Its just not good. Maybe its the sound." What the fuck is that? Haha.

Hey, maybe you dislike Mudvayne, but I doubt you've heard enough by them to justify saying they suck.

Iæve actually heard two albums by them.... The End of all things to come, and lost and found. Sound is pretty important to me.. I like the bassist, but I don't think his style fits the music very much. But I'll guess its each to his own on that matter.

And i'm not a fan of Nu-metal anyway, so they do not do anything for me at all. And as I said, My first statement was probably a bit harsh. The mix between harsh/clean vocals is also something i just can't get used to.

Oxbow - Love That's Last
Incubus - Make Yourself
Earth - 2: Special Low Frequency Edition

I think any trace of kvltness I once had has long since evolved into something else.
