Better than I expected given what I'd read so I'm glad I gave it a go. I lost interest in Sepultura after Roots the last cd of theirs I liked so for me it reminds me of the stuff I was into.

It doesn't sound bad, I'm actually tempted to get this one because I feel I've missed Sepultura a bit and this reminds Sep a lot. From the 4 songs on myspace that I listenend to, I'd say that Zad's quote is quite right. Btw, Inflikted is a sick song, I loved that one! Next time that I feel I'm in the mood for something like heavy thrash to thrashy death, this one will be considered as a good option.

Ya, definantly not bad at all. I think seeing it live at Download will be awesome. Seriously, they nailed it with Sancuary-that song is a fucking blinder.

I think I posted my thoughts on this album in another thread, but I'll repeat the sentiments all the same. If this was the follow up to Roots, then it wouldn't look too far out of place in Max-era Sepultura's back catalogue. It's better than anything Soulfly and post Max Sep, but not quite as good as old Sep or Nailbomb.

I agree with Zad in the sense that I think it is more of an ego thing for the Cavaleras rather than an attempt to reinvent the steel... 80/100 because it has got some good thrashy riffs and I like Max's sound: he has the most ferocious (shout) voice in Metal!

I was very surprised with the quality of this album. Sepultura had gone downhill since Against and I've gotten bored with Soulfly after their 3rd or 4th album.

Cavalera Conspiracy is very good and the video they did for the second track is pretty cool

Here are the two bonus tracks from this album, if anyone wants them. One is a Possessed cover. Both are great!

This is a good album, I'm enjoying it more than I expected to.
