Most recently:

Soulfly - Conquer I'm a big fan of old Sepultura but I never really got into Soulfly. After being so impressed with Cavalera Conspiracy thought I'd give this a go. Like what I've heard so far and the bonus dvds pretty cool.

X-World 5 - New Universal Order - Anything that has Nile K Rue(Pagan's Mind) and Andy La Rocque(King Diamond) I had to check out. Just don't expect it to sound like their normal bands it's still heavy but different.

Hey Zad, how did you find Panopticon? For me it was fucking boring, the total opposite of the awesome Oceanic.

Not had a chance to listen yet. I know it's supposed to be less Metal-ly...

That's definitely true, there is very little actual metal, though if you like 'dreamy' kind of music then you'll like it, but personally it was just too soft, but not in the awesome way Opeth's Damnation was.

Waiting patiently for my Overkill cd to come. I was told it should be here on Tuesday, it's now Friday (Satruday in 14 minutes). I hate waiting, as soon as it comes in my Overkill collection is complete.

renting a ludicrously expensive (1500$) acoustic bass. i'm afraid of falling i love with it :X

the other four acoustic basses i tried (there was 2 at each store >_<) had an annoying twangy/tinny sound to them that i didn't like at all
