This morning I made a couple of non-metal purchases:

Blackmore's Night: Secret Voyage

and

Celtic Legend: Lyonesse

The vocalist for Celtic Legend has a very strong Tarja Turunen tone to her voice. And, is it me, or is Candice Night incredibly hot?

Meh.

Goat Of Mendes and The White Crematorium are both great albums, metalxxx, but give them time, not easy to get into (esp. the Monolith D)

hmm... Will do. Which one of them should I start with. For now I only listen to brutal death metal in small doses.

Goat Of Mendes is quite varied and experimental, listen to the few few tracks off that. It's quite orgasmic...

WC is a more streamlined, less experimental version of Triumvirate, so you'll just have to listen a few times to get used to it.

Fleet Foxes-Fleet Foxes

Reviewing here has given me an overdose of metal, so I need a break from it.

I acquired that the other day. Not as good as hyped, but not bad.

Children of Bodom: Something Wild and Hatebreeder

Never really given them a chance so I picked these up.

Also, I'm on Chester market and I had a religious metal moment! For some reason I was drawn to the second hand CDs on this stall, and usually it's all shit so I don't bother to look, but I just had a feeling...I look in and instantly see NWOBHM:Vol 8 for £3. I buy it, and it's full of forgotten bands with some awesome songs---Anthem-England is fucking brilliant!

Thankyou Satan!

Song I heard off it seemed promising. Hope the rest'll be at least as good.

Oh, in response to your earlier question, Bryter Layter is pretty good. Only Drake I've heard, mind.
