Thanks for tipping on that band! I definitely need to pick this up ASAP.

Now, I frankly have a hard time with most doom but I seem to like most trad' doom (Candlemass, Reverand Bizarre, Forsaken, etc.) and this falls right up my alley. Any fans of the aforementioned bands need to check this band out if you haven't already!

"so calm, yet so powerful" describes this band perfectly; they don't have any dynamic, dramatic parts, but the way their music slowly builds and releases is really powerful. i love listening to this when i'm tired and walking home from work at night.

also agreed that this is their best album. with each album they seem to move further away from their debut's Candlemass-ish sound and they get better at blending the folk influences into their music.

So you're saying Forevermore is more Candlemass-ish? I need to pick that up too. Ancient Dreams is one of my favorite albums ever. Marcolin may be an ass, but his voice is class. :dio:
