I did say that I'd like MR to be the foremost Metal resource online. Covering everything of Metallica's seems like a good first step, no?

Agreed. Have Maiden not been done yet?

The first couple are yet to be done, I know that much.

Ah right. Not enough of a Maiden fan to do 'em though. Definitely will go to work on a few of the Sabbaths though.

How about one of the first 4 Testament albums? Any one would make me happy, but if im going to get specific, even though The Legacy is probably the most likely choice, I would argue Practice What You Preach is more deserving.

And maybe...uh...Kreator's Coma of Souls? I like my thrash agressive and technical as you can plainly see...

Aw heck, since I'm already at it, I'll also suggest Heathen's Victims of Deception. And maybe even Doomsday for the Deceiver by Flotsam and Jetsam?

At least not yet. It's only been about 2 years, we don't know what impact it's had at this point.

Not sure about classic, but hell yeah to an archive review. And No place for disgrace, too. (The current F&J reviews don't show the real level of the band)

Symphony X - The Divine Wings Of Tragedy

Symphony X has been so influential its a shame none of their earlier albums have been reviewed.

That's actually the only S-X album I own.

Whoa....

I just realised that South of Heaven hasn't even got a review!

I'd call it classic, but it deserves an archive review at the VERY least!

Gorguts - The Erosion Of Sanity

in fact the only Gorguts review on this site is very poor, not to do with the score or anything, but the writing is horrible. I mean, read this:

http://www.metalreviews.com/reviews/detail.php3?id=768

Quote:
The result of their first album Obscura was kind of a fascination in the death scene.

Obscura was their third album.

And the reviewer said their genre was "Morbid Angel copycat". wtf?

Some of the old reviews here are just... just pretend they don't exist. I mean,

Quote:
It is quiet ok to develop a fascination and respect for a cult band like Morbid Angel but in fact Gorguts are loosing their identity or maybe trying to find one.

just makes me quiver with a raging urge to correct the spelling.
