I'd say that's about right.

Back in 1998, I would have loved this. But there is just to much better stuff out there to be settling for this now.

This is the kind of album that doesn't piss me off to listen to, but I would have been pissed if I spent $15 for this CD.

It's kind of like they read "How to Make a Power Metal Album" and went to work. As has been said, this approach may have lured me in 6-7 years ago when the metal scene was so thin, but it won't work in today's climate. Time will tell if these guys can up the ante as far as songwriting goes.

Hmh... I've known the band almost from the very beginning and, maybe because of that, I don't think this was THAT bad...

But I'll admit that this album wasn't all as great as I'd hoped for :( ..but still, it's a very solid listen!
They had an EP/demo called Return Of The King released in 2000 which was much more enthuastic and had all the good songs on it which would later also appear on this debut album (Break Out).

And Pasi is truly a great singer, one of the best! :D ...Even though his performance (for some reason) wasn't as good on this (Break Out) album as I had used to hearing before...

But you should all check out his other band FRETERNIA which is great in all areas!!! \m/

Wait a minute, Pasi is the singer for Freternia? Man, I actually dig them a good bit.
