I think he's gotten a lot better over the years. I couldn't stand him from the start but now I think he shreds pretty dang good these days.

He's unearthly fast and clean, but has a tendency towards wankerdom at times.

Or at least teach him about theory, shapes and scales.
And one of the fundamentals of shredding: play it right slowly, then, build up speed.

Damn, I keep thinking it must be a joke on a colossal scale delivered in a deadpan worthy of Leslie Neilson either that, or that boy needs a few lessons. Quite a few.

Andy LaRoque is probably my favourite.

I also like Andre Olbrich a lot, Mark Shelton, Bob Vigna, Gregor Mackintosh, Mustaine, De Garmo and obviously the Tipton/Downing duo. And a mention for Victor Smolski, Samoth and whoever played guitars on the first 3 Tokyo Blade albums, with those insanely fast and catchy riffs.

Andy Laroque is probably mine too, but George Lynch is very close.

Inredibly skilled, but tend to get a little boring imo.
