Well... being deeply involved in occultism myself, I'd have to say this is goofy to me. It fails in sounding evil and just sounds like a bunch of noise with some halloween stuff.

That said... for those who really want good occult stuff, you'd better go on the dark/ambient spectrum. Stuff like Equimanthorn... now that is occult and awesome. Also Karl Sander's Saurian Meditation, a somewhat "lite" version of Equimanthorn, even though the subjects are slightly different.

If you like it blacker and heavier, go for Absu, Alghazanth, Watain, Crimson Moon or Black Funeral.

If you can stomach it, there's also Dissection's Reinkaos. A lot hate the music because they went melodeath but the fact is, the occult stuff is there and from a strictly lyrical standpoint, this is among the best there is. Personally, I love the album when I got past the fact this isn't the same band that released The Somberlain.

Yeah? Well, I think they're good, at least for sympho black. Hey, would you rather have Dummy Burger?

Seriously though, if you judge them on their last one, it's way below par compared to Osiris Typhon Unmasked or Polarity Axiom. But eh, to each his own, I guess.

Yeah, sorry mate. I wrote that before thinking. No offence meant, that kind of stuff doesnt just appeal to me.

For good occult BM try out Charnel Winds. They havent released an album yet, but their demo stuff has been amazing so far.

None taken

Not everyone likes the sympho stuff, much like not everyone likes the kvlt stuff, heh. But Charnel Winds does look awesome. I don't care how kvlt or fruity it is, as long as it's occult. Need to get my hands on that I.I.I demo. Thanks for the heads up!
