Hey friends. So here's the thing, I go over to scotland every year to compete in the world pipe band championships, and this year I think I'll stick around for a bit and go to finland and norway and such.

So my question to any of you europeans is what should I do and where should I go? The competition is around the second week of august every year, so I'd be over there in late august. I want to try and take in as many concerts as I can, since many of my favourite bands are from the area and never bother coming over to canada. Any big festivals that take place during that time of year? Good cities to chill in and take in the sights? Anything! Thanks fellas.

Isn't there a Tulska festival or something? Probably some of the finns on here will be more useful...

Not to brag or anything, but Bergen, Norway is really nice in the summer... And maybe you'll catch the hole in the sky festival.
