Ha ha. That's one of the best reviews I've read in quite some time. And as much as I love Slayer, I'm also worried their next album is gonna suck.

agreed.

this is the definition of mallcore if there ever was one, I liked the drumming on this album, but the vocals sucked, the lyrics sucked, and yeah.

I give it a 20/100 just for a couple cool riffs and awesome drumming.

One good riff per song , good drumming... I don't think this album sucks that much. Mallcore is usually worse than this.

Metalcore isn't my stuff...but "down again" is not a bad song. But that's just my humble opinion. Indeed, this stuff isn't very original...

Great review and an appropriate score. What a shitty album, and the fact that Kerry King likes it is quite telling of how shitty Slayer's last albums have been.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm... the I of R was something I picked up soon after it came out, and was probably the heaviest thing I had heard then. I've moved on, obviously, but it helped set me on the true path. However, re-listening to it, all its faults are glaring. Great review!
