HIBRIA - THE SKULL COLLECTORS

I'm loving the new album, it's technical, melodic and with a 80's Metal vibe that will make any ol' metal-head bow in reverence. The band is in great shape, the core of the band is still the same, except for the drummer, but the bastard isn't missed at all, Eduardo Baldo, the new drummer is equally good, if not better than Savio Sordi. Iuri Sanson is quickly becoming in one of my fav vocalist of all time, his fuckin' range and the colors in his voice are top-notch. The only flaws are the stupid cover and the overall concept of the album, which I find completely boring and uninteresting, well, what are we gonna do? not everybody is the mighty King Diamond or DsO

This will definitely be in my top 5 Power/Heavy releases of 2008. If Lost Horizon don't come back soon, Hibria will claim the throne.

Man, if you liked Tiger Punch, prepare to shit your pants on, because that's not even near the best song of the album, there are like 5 songs who are better imho. I hope you listen to it FAST. I'm sure your top 5 albums of the year will change :wink:

I like Defying the Rules better after the first listen... But it's still awesome.
