I'm going to pretend that you meant Die by His Hand from the Exodus demo.

We both know thats a great song and that Baloff does a great job on it, and we both know that Metallica stole that riff and section, but damn if they didn't do a good job of it and of integrating it into their song.

If you haven't been to a Metallica concert and screamed DIE-DIE-DIE along with thousands of people, you don't know the impact that song can have.

Sometimes I like it more than Master of Puppets, but RTL is sill a real great masterpiece. It's still raw, but the songwriting is better than on KEA, which is also great, but RTL has so many markable riffs, that every listening is fun. Even my all time favourite solo is on RTL, namely on the title track at 3:37 to 4:21 and the following part is just godlike.

Now this is the stuff, yo. A thrash metal album where the choruses aren't just the song titles repeated four times; where there's dynamics and emotion instead of ultra-fast yet drab-as-shit riffage.

Oh yes, ladies and gentlenuts, this is the best thrash metal album besides Master of Puppets. Hardly anything else compares.

HA

I use to not care what you said about thrash, but now I really don't care. Because you have no clue what the hell you are talking about.

MoP best thrash album? Overrated piece of garbage.

But I do like RtL it is deserved of classic status. I do like KeA better though...

Sodom is overrated. Couldn't conceive a good chorus if their life depended on it.

And you smell.

Choruses don't make a song, they just add to it. Sodom rules nonetheless.

And I smell like a fine cologne. Velvety almost, like the ropes at a bank.

Choruses add a memorable part to the song, just as emotion does. Most thrash lacks both of these qualities.

imo if you're listening to thrash for choruses or emotion, other than anger, you're doing it wrong. thrash is all about that riff that comes in after the chorus and is just like BAM BAM BAM KNOCKING FUCKING BUILDINGS DOWN. like in Artillery - Terror Squad. holy fuck.

HAHA! Made my day. This album is indeed a classic and IMO the best Metallica album. Creeping death :dio:
