I have no idea what the hell these guys would sound like, but I'd want to hear it:

Mike Scalzi - Vocals
Andy Laroque - Guitar
Matt Pike - Guitar
Leif Edling - Bass
Pete Sandoval - Drums

Bass: Victor Wooten
Mad Phat Beats: Squarepusher
Clarinet: Squidward Tentacles
Skin Flute: Paul Reubens

Or on a more serious note*

Vocals: Bobby Blitz Ellsworth (Overkill)
Guitar: Josh Christian (Toxik)

[edit] Oh. Five piece. Second guitar would be... Uhh... Maybe Darren Travis (Sadus) who could also do screamy vocals.

I realize this is a 6 member band but it's my damn fantasy!! :P

I wanted great musicians but great songwriters as well. These guys have written incredible songs.

Ok, now I've decided to go totally Iron Maiden by adding a 3rd guitarist to my fantasy lineup!

Vocals: Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
Guitar I: Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest)
Guitar II: Michael Amott (Arch Enemy)
Guitar III: Chris Caffery (Savatage/TSO)
Bass: Marco Hietala (Nightwish/Tarot)
Drums: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater)
Keys: Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish)

Now I'm done
:)

Tobias Sammet - vocals & songwriting

I think a line-up like this would be awesome.

Vokills: Rody Walker (Protest the Hero)
Guitar: Kurt Ballou (Converge)
Bass: Nate Newton (Converge
Drums: Brann Dailor (Mastodon)

This band would be nnnuuuuuuuuttttttttttssssssssssss.

Considered the idea of a better bassist in there like the dude from Protest the Hero or BtBAM but the thought of a Converge sound with Rody on vocals and Dailor on drums makes me jizz.

As much as I like Protest The Hero, I'm still not too crazy about Rody.

I like him but I'm not in love with him. I just would like him a lot better than Converge's current vocals.

Location: The Woodlands, TX (home of Rusty Cooley)
Vocals: Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus - Clean Vocals)
Guitar 1: Rusty Cooley (Outworld - 4 teh shredding)
Guitar 2: Devin Townsend (SYL, S/T - for backing vocals and occasional harsh vocals as well)
Bass: Andreas Blomqvist (Seventh Wonder - 4 teh bass shredding?)
Drums: Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater - will never give backing vocals... ever...)

That would actually be a pretty damn good prog metal band right there.

*Doesn't get what's so good about Protest The Hero*

Mars Volta gone emocore, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. And the singer looks like Mike Patton's little brother, which is annoying me for some reason.
