Good to see this here. I have to admit I'm a sucker for most melodeath. Thing is, we have plenty of death metal here... I can name you a dozen here and now. But just like the States, we don't have so many melodic acts. Archons and Shades of Despair are two quite promising bands in that area.

If you liked this, you should check out Shades of Despair. Their first album was released on Galy (if I remember right) and was very cookie-cutter but the new one is much more brutal and technical while still being melodic.

I'm getting a hold of this now. I really appreciate the review. It seems that with the new staff, the genres are all being covered more thoroughly. Thanks.

EDIT: I listed to a couple tracks and didn't care for it. I generally like most melodeath but the melodeath that tries to mimick DT is not my cup of tea.
