Basically a noise record with rapping. Would I get slaughtered if I reviewed it favourably? I'd have to talk about why the rapping is good, which no-one would like... you guys are much less likely to go shitstorm than the forum two years ago, but surely even you have your limits... or maybe I should just say fuck it and do it.
You'd also have to explain the value of noise rock.

Listening to Heathen for the first time.

I've reviewed noise rock before. Or was that a snarky anti-noise rock comment? :P

Anti-noise snark snark. I've only listened to some and the very early White Zombie albums are all I could tolerate.

I'd say no. I hate to bring up the whole "Metal" Reviews thing, but I will.

Sublime, as is all by Death.

Everything Chuck touched was gold.

Great musician, great songwriiter and all-around cool motherfucker, as anyone that has ever seen him interviewed would attest.

It is no exaggeration (sp? second vodka and olives in the wind...) to say that Scream Bloody Gore changed the way I listened to metal.

I have the debut s/t...
they are a bit unconventional for a Thrash band.

got a chance to catch Priest live for the Screaming... tour, and it was fucking badass, as to be expected.

Running Wild just faded out, and...

Savatage - 24 Hours Ago kicks in.

You lucky lucky bastard.

And yes Mekong Delta are a bit unconventional, but still a lot of awesome.

Running Wild kick ass, and so does Savatage.

NP: Sabbat -- I For An Eye

i love these guys when they speed up.

I just iTunes on random, and I am liking what I have been getting these last few songs.

haha... Yes they are, and yes they do.

n/p:
Saxon - Taking Your Chances

lucky, indeed... saw them in 83 with Maiden and Fastway... Saxon blew Maiden away, believe it or not.

It warms my heart to see newer generations digging this stuff; it gives me hope for the human race.

I was born much too late.

Saxon rules, and I just got my narrow minded buddy into them last night. So yeah, I'm cool.

NP: Judas Priest -- Last Rose of Summer
I love the mellowness of this song.

I'd of loved to see Saxon out play Maiden back in '83.

I'd of loved to see Maiden or Priest in their prime years. Oh well...

Here comes my youthfullness...
