I really need to give this band another shot I guess. Everywhere I look there is nothing but praise for this band and i must admit I just don't get it :lame:

Hey!

I own this, got it for free a few years back.

I didn't like it at first, was just noise.

But after seeing these guys live, I really like it. Good fun.

I was just listening to Scum again yesterday, and by fuck is it awesome. Although this isn't the first time I'm seeing the opinion that FETO is actually better than Scum (FETO is the number one on the latest Terrorizer grindcore top 20), so I will check this out ASAP.

i have to agree I like this a little better than scum, perhaps its shane embury? or just more consistency, either way definitely a classic.

Napalm death seems like one of those bands that in spite of age always will release solid albums. I was listening to the Code is red and Scum and they are unrelenting

I have had scum and smear campaign for a couple of years now but never really liked them until like 2 weeks ago. Something just clicked and i realized that this is a really good band. I like the newer stuff alot more though. The code is red, smear campaign and time waits for no slave are the albums i like the most

I have the same problem. I picked up Inside The Torn Apart, which I agree may not be the best place to start with ND. It was just an average album and then I saw the review for Smear Campaign and thought that would be a good place to start. I listened to it and it didn't do much for me. I guess, for me, it has more to do with the genre than the band. I also own an album by Brutal truth, Extreme Measures or something and it hardly finds time in my player after the first 2-3 listens. Grindcore doesn't seem to be my cup of tea.
