Some Ion Dissonance at school. I like it but I wish they were more like meshuggah in terms of their breakdowns. Real heavy and then just blow you away afterwards. ID's breakdowns seem anti-climactic.

Checked ID out again the other day after the topic, and they're a darn sight better than most deathcore bands around now. A bit unhinged, but that's nice at times.
Deathcore, really?

I'm not saying ID are Deathcore, just that I miss the technical/spazzy/whatever you call it sort of Hardcore.

Tardy Brothers - Bloodline

Holy shit. This isn't out for a while, but it's a kickass album, John and Donald Tardy's side project. It's like a very catchy Obituary with lots of great riffs and solos. One to look out for, Death Metal fans.

New Deathstars. This could go well or just really, really badly.

Edit: Couldn't tolerate the Rammstein copying and the chanted choruses. Now listening to SepticFlesh, a much better choice.

Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta I: Fathers Of The Icy Age

Going on a time warp with these guys, now that The Axis Of Perdition have failed me big time.

I was listening to Memoria Vetusta some days ago, it's so beautiful and epic  What do you think about it? Maybe you should do a double review of both Memoria Vetusta I & II.

We're all in a Blut Aus Nord roll. That's a good thing.

Liszt - Sonata in B minor

The Meads Of Asphodel - The Excommunication of Christ

Raw, but still awesome. I'm probably the only one on the forum who owns this, perhaps even who has heard it.

Amaseffer - Slaves for Life

Very interesting album from a talented Isreali band, quite reminiscent of Orphaned Land, with Mats Leven carrying the vocal duties. Even Angela Gossow screams here and there in a few songs :P . I wonder why nobody in this forum has mentioned them...
