Sounds an awful lot like Ratt (of which three of the numbers were part) but Shortino has a better voice than Pearcy.

I've always loved Shortino's voice. That guy should have done more. I've never felt that Rough Cutt sounded even remotely like Ratt at all. RC had a heavier sound that could never be construed as pop/hair metal.

Shortino played Duke Fame in Spinal Tap. There's a bit of trivia for you.

Plus, you missed some awesome live albums:

Rainbow "On Stage" (1977)
The Who "Live At Leeds" (1970)
MSG "One Night At Budokan" (1982)
Cheap Trick "At Budokan" (1979)
AC/DC "If You Want Blood...You've Got It" (1978)

Yeah, the Who Live at Leeds is amazing

I would really like to see a review for "Death or Glory" by Heavy Load. Actually...any of the first three Heavy Load Album's would be excellent. That band is so fucking awesome. It would be especially good for all the power metal fan boys to hear what real powerful metal sounds like.

I am going to do one of Gorguts' Obscura soon. Dunno when it will get put up though.

Yes, but Future World has some cheesy AOR and, anyway, it has already been reviewed.

People... I'm a little uncertain.. I have the Dark Quarterer debut ready, and I'm not sure if I should place it in the classics section. I think it is, what do you guys think? (the_voice, holy_terror, Ganesha)

Hey! Nice!
Dark Quarterer certainly is a very underrated act.

Their debut, imho, only deserves an archive review. It's good but not as good as Etruscan Prophecy. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing it labeled as a classic, I just feel you should hold it until you come around EP.

Maybe you're right.. I don't know. I personally consider them both classics, but I prefer the self-titled one. Gotta love that band. Completely awesome.

Well, I think both are classic... If only one has to be considered classic, the Etruscan Prohecy deserves it, as Lucy said

+1 either way i will be happy for the review but if only one Dark Quarterer is going to be classic that should be The Etruscan Prophecy.
