Never heard of Witchaven, or the local band obviously.

But I do like Bonded By Blood, and even if you or others don't like them, I am sure they will put on a good entertaining show. Plus they will probably play a few Exodus songs. Which will be awesome.

As for ExMortus, a lot of people have a hard-on for them but I don't get it. But I am sure they should put on a good show.

Depending on the price of admission, I'd definitely go.

$10. Plus I hear some magazine is gonna give out free shit.

I think I'm gonna go.

Sounds like a good deal, I'd definitely do it.

Exmortus was probably the best band there. They were so energetic, it was amazing.

And so the hard-on begins...

But the young bands always do put on good shows. Mantic Ritual musically is blah, but seeing them live was so awesome. Just the energy factor was crazy.

So Metallica is coming to Cincinnati and since I wrecked my car on the way to see them in Columbus, I'm so excited about this. They haven't announced support acts but I really hope Mastodon is one and a solid retro thrash band would be good too.

Alestorm playing in April, supported by Tyr.

So, we have an inventive and original metal band that keeps the "folk" formula fresh with proggy elements and great songwriting and has released album after album of top quality songs...

...supporting an annoying gimmick that get by on the back of being a "pirate band" but who wouldn't know piracy if it was boarding their luxury cruise liner of the coast of Somalia.

Sounds about right. :lame:

The amount of hipsters who have latched on to them on the basis of LOLPIRATEMETAL is embarrassing. It's one thing to listen to metal with good humour and irony (as I think you have to a lot of the time) and another to listen to metal while heartily sniggering at how ridiculous it all is.

I guess that's why they are headlining over Tyr :lame:

*does not see why Alestorm are considered good*

This year's Turisas? I suppose it's good that Metal are developing one-hit wonders... wait, no it's not.

So Testament, Unearth and Lazarus AD are coming to town, is that worth seeing? I feel like seeing Testament in a small venue would be pretty awesome but would Unearth drag out the hardcore dancers?

Went to go and see Satyricon last Tuesday, Jesus I can't believe it's already been a week.

Was an awesome show, loved it. The support band, Mhorgl was good too. I went with following the reaper, neither of us had heard of Mhorgl but I thought they were pretty good, so bought their CD.

HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK, just saw some dude getting his leg taken off by an axe on the news, talk about random

I think the next live show I'll be going to is Cradle of Filth, should be good.

So Cynic is opening for Dragonforce. WTF? With Daath, Cynic and Dragonforce should that be a laid back show or what?

Because the pit would get intense when Testament is playing real thrash for .5 of a second and then end in disaster when Kreator forcibly converts all of the Testament fans into crazed German moshers.

Unearth apparently give a killer live show, I'd tolerate the hardcore kiddies. Testament would be awesome anytime.
