If people waited for love in order to have sex, a lot of us would not be here posting.

That is so cruel yet so true.

I'm so glad I was a late bloomer and that sex hardly crossed my mind as a teenager. Teens having sex is just pointless. How hard is is to wait until 18 or early 20's to find someone you truly love for sex?

It's bloody good fun?

And how do you know that teenagers can't have emotions of an intensity equal if not greater than those of an adult as well? And what is "true love" anyway??

I thought you were the Power Metal guy? Isn't that what you guys sing about apart from dragons and fairy-tale lands? :P

Uh... No?

Who the hell finds their true love at ages 18-20?

What is this, a Victorian England-era romance novel? Is the villain a dashing aristocrat who is demanding and piggish when alone with his wife?

He also writes really mean letters about his family, showing that he is an absolute scoundrel and the blackest rogue!

Ooh, does he have slicked-back hair? Did they go for that back then?

Love is only a psycho-chemical state produced by the stimulation of dopamine glands anyway, talking about "true" love is ridiculous.

I figured everyone who remembered me would expect me to say that anyway so it was left unsaid.

You know what would be cool? If people could induce that psycho-chemical state so men would fall in love with cell phones or bowls of rice krispies.

Dopamine is activated by chocolate and weed as well, just on a lot less intense level. There's a reason why the feeling of loss and crushing need that results with being dumped is so similar to withdrawal symptoms. Love is a drug, it works the same way.

Don't forget 'tall, dark and handsome'. Which in this kid's case, he is not.
