20inchburial, new winds and a few other portuguese bands a few years ago. the stage was really low so if you wanted to see anything you'd have to actually climb up on it, so there was a big push towards the front, and then of course it was full of hardcore assholes doing all sorts of retarded shit.

Napalm Death when they came down in 2007. The pit just got bigger and bigger till people started climbing the stairs and rails just to avoid it. Kreator and Slayer were bad ass as well.

LoG at Ozzfest. Bottles thrown in the air. Two giant circle pits that were just expanding. Tons of douchebags. It was bad.

Haha, that's just what I was thinking. I went to see it in Chicago that same year, and the LoG pit was a sight to behold. Especially when Randy had them do what he called "the wall".

Personally, I hate moshing. I'm there to see the band, not bump into a bunch of fat sweaty dudes I don't even know.

Municipal Waste, I guess. Pits don't particularly draw my attention, since I think they are one of the gayest things ever invented.

At Heavy MTL last year. There was like 30 000 people fighting for position. It was ridiculous. A big group of us fell and couldn't get up. There was this chick underneath a guy who was underneath me and she was screaming so loud. There was also this lady and I am guessing her husband standing around this group of kids and every time you would come near the kids the chick would yell at you to get lost. She called it the non-mosh zone. If you got too close she would literally hit you. My friend Eric freaked out at her 'cause she hit him in the face. He was telling her to get out of the pit area if she didn't want the kids to get hurt.

It was definitely a work out though, fighting with all those people just to stand still. I eventually moved back to get away from the idiots, and stood with this hot french shick who was taking pics but was short so I helped her. Damn language barrier.
