It was still brutal.

The chick in my story broke her ankle. I remember seeing her after the show on the back of a golf cart with 2 security guards and her ankle all bandaged up.

For a straight up mosh pit then, either:

Mastodon or 3 Inches of Blood

Mastodon had this guy who was so fucked on drugs he didn't care what happened to him. He was all bloody and kept falling. But he'd get back up with a smile on his face and do it all over again.

3 Inches of Blood was just straight up brutal. Lots of people running from every direction. Not your typical "mosh band" but it was still brutal. My buddy lost his shoes. The only reason why I was in this pit was because Overkill just ended and I was pumped and was running with the crowd over to the other stage. Ran right into the piut and decided to go jump in. I did my best Toxic Waltz.
