My guitar player got me into them by showing me their latest live dvd, and I immediately went and bought their back catalogue. Fucking awesome, one of the best metalcore bands out there.

Went to a show last night. Some metalcoreish band opened, they sucked. Then it went Warbringer, Belphegor, Exodus, and then Kreator.

Yeah they are. Thanks for the tip I now shall avoid them. Was Belphegor good live?

So I used to always complain about no good concerts but now Judas Priest and Whitesnake are coming in July but the tickets are like $60. I'm not sure if British Steel is worth that much. And then PJ Harvey and John Parish are coming in July too. If that new album is good then I will go check it out.

I don't know a lot of Belphegor, but they were cool. Really got the crowd into it and their accents were awesome. The one guitar player looked like a chick though. Real tight leather pants and make-up and shit. Twas weird.

As for Priest and Whitesnake, they are coming here in July to and I am so there.

Watching Whitesnake here this summer, supposed to be one hell of a live band. Unfortunately it's without Priest..,. Caught them last year though, before they released Nostradamus fortunately.

Opeth is coming around May 24th with Enslaved. Hopefully Summer Slaughter is coming around to Michigan this summer. There's also probably some local stuff going on down the street from me, until I go home for the summer, in which case that stuff will be farther away. I'll probably try and catch Wastelander sometime and hopefully snag a t-shirt.
