an iron maiden was a torture device that has nothing to do with music either!!

chinese water torture would have been a better name for them because at least dying in an iron maiden seems like it would be interesting

Agreed! :dio:

YOU MUST REALLY LIKE THE SOUND OF Em-->C

Well to be frank, yeah I do. It's a cool progression if you ask me. And Maiden used it on a lot of songs, but somehow they are all different respectively. I won't deny that Maiden recycle their progressions, but they know how to make each one distinctive on its own. Speaking of recycling, I heard Iced Earth did pretty badly with their latest. Haven't heard it yet.

The latest Iced Earth isn't exactly bad, it's just terminally boring.

Yup. Not one bad song. Only a couple of good ones though.

Worst opening band - tie between Audrey Horne at the last Enslaved gig and In Flames before Slayer in '06. Both utterly atrocious in every regard.

Hmm... Last time I watched Audrey Horne they were pretty good. Depends if you actually like the music of course. In Flames were great when I saw them way back.

Audrey Horne were a bit out of place at that gig though! Krakow were probably worse than them I'd have to say.

yeah... not exactly the same style.. Audrey are usually good by themselves though. I've heard lots of good stuff about Krakow. Just never got into them.

Krakow were good apart from the vocals as I remember. Audrey Horne I thought were just fucking torture, obviously if you like shitty alt rock you may have enjoyed them
