Tremendously awesome album.

It stands with Once Upon the Cross and Legion for me in terms of favorite but that may be because it is still fresh.

This album kicked my ass! I thought they had lost it after Legion but this shit is bangin'... You gotta love the solo on The Stench of Redemption :dio: (among others of course)

Santolla's guitarwork seems in stark contrast to Deicide's intense nature but those solos add some more intensity to the music. It was more then enough to make up for scars of the crucifix.
