This album is brilliant. I feel sad though I have yet to hear Heaven in Flames. But the three I have heard shine as three wonderful albums(this one, Distant in Solitary Night, and Thy Dying Light). It would be very cool if Akhenaten does another Judas Iscariot album, or just another album in general.

I know; it's a shame that Akhenaten decided to end Judas Iscariot; anyway, you still have to listen to Heaven in Flames; if you think the ones you mentioned are great wait 'till you hear that one; also be sure to check out the Dethroned, Conquered and Forgotten EP, it's great.

Don't worry; I'll review some more Judas Iscariot in the future, be sure of that, but not very soon; there are a lot of 2004 Black Metal releases that have priority at this moment, and a lot of archives I'd like to do first. This review was kind of a tribute to the now deceased Judas Iscariot.

Anyway, I'll try to review another Judas Iscariot album before year's end. Guess which one it'll be.... :wink:

Fuck yeah, brilliant album! perfect atmosphere; the conquering of empires set to music.
I have all of the JI catalogue, and this one is the best one, though of course they are all awesome.

Indeed, Heaven in Flames is the best Judas Iscariot album.

I didn't do another one because there where loads of 04 Black Metal releases that where more important to review at the moment, I had to review all of the BM albums of the year in two months!!! (and I couldn't because they were too much) but now that I begin reviewing since the beggining of the year, I'll have more time for archives and classics.

Thats cool... Judas Iscariot and Xasthur are at the top of my band list these days.
