Holy shit. They just released War Without End last year and now this. That doesn't bode well but how does this compare to War w/o End? I didn't like the vox on the last one so have they improved?

Some thrash metal is about as original as Zads reviews for thrash metal.

Anyway, this is better than War Without End. The vocals are much more tolerable, the music itself is cool. Fast, pretty heavy, and everything you'd want from some modern thrash. The score fits this album perfectly.

So two listens and this above and beyond War without End. This one doesn't seem as much a generic one-off from a part of the retro thrash scene. It's like they actually put themselves into it. :omfg:

Haha, same old song. You must admit, what Thrash I do like is generally worth a listen.

That I will admit, but there is a lot that you have not heard that should be given at least 1 chance.

This band kicks ass! Not sure what you guys are looking for when it comes to thrash, but bands like this are about as close you're going to get to the classic stuff until you invent a fucking time machine.

Great album. Great band.

When Zad listens to thrash metal he is looking for some real experimental industrial black metal. That's why he "is not the biggest thrash fan in the world."

:lame:

When I listen to Thrash Metal I listen for music that isn't either entirely ripped off or music that isn't the same track over and over.

Am I the only one who liked War Without End BECAUSE of the production? No question, Waking into Nightmare is a killer album, but for me the sound is toooooooo much late Exodus (what is not astonishing, because of the producer) - which are sounding a little bit boring and too modern. And especially the vocals are too loud and too much in the foreground, while on WWE they were in the perfect mix with everything.

I missed this. I have seen them live.

Good energy, songs are fast and they play them well live. But man, he can not sing live. If Warbringer has a fault, it is their singer. And he was brutal (not the good kind) live.

there is a few parts on War without end where he is obviously straining to keep up with the speed of the music. I don't honestly think hes that bad there is a lot worse thrash vocalists out there.

I don't even understand these statements. How can any real fan of thrash say this? His voice fits the music perfectly. This isn't power metal or epic doom metal here. What kind of singer are you guys looking for? Dude has a classic thrash voice.
