I need to give this a second chance. I listened to it a little while back and it didn't do much for me but I've been hearing a lot of praise about this album.. I guess it may be one of those things I just don't "get" (kind of like Amesoeurs, I guess).

I wasn't too keen the first time I played it either; it comes across initially as quite bog-standard black metal without too many distinguishing features, but actually the more you listen the more you notice interesting things going on.
