Any other metal heads as wrapped up and in awe with her as I am???
Just something about the lyrics and vocals. Especially the stripped down versions and B-songs
like cooling, honey and sugar
Been checking these live outtube videos. Simply outstanding. No recording tools needed for this lady, just the instrument. I have been amazed for years now. I literally get drawn in!!!!!

I think i could listen to her just make noises and bang meaningless notes on the keys> serious i think im losing my mind.

She's been a favorite of mine since the early 90s, whenever that first album came out. She's brilliant. A chick and a piano is something I have a big soft spot for.

You ever heard Tara Maclean or Charlotte Martin? Check these out:

I have to agree 100%. She's absolutely brilliant and tremendously talented. I remember watching a VH1 'Storytellers' episode dedicated to her and she just blew me away.

Nothing like Ani. Tori's foundation is piano, where Ani is generally acoustic guitar-based all the time. Tori is far more eclectic and weird.

DiFranco employs rather repetitive, sharp chord structures, and develops slightly atonal vocal lines over it. Is Amos more "poppish" or traditional (I-IV-V) when it comes to songwriting?
