Thanks, it's definitely a good album, and will probably end up in my top 15 at the end of the year.

So far this album is quite boring and forgettable. It's great that Voivod was still able to release something with Piggy. It's apparent that many of the ideas and songs that ended up on this album were still works in progress. However, the remaining members of Voivod felt they were complete and satisfying enough to release so Piggy's trademark style would be present despite his death. Even if he had lived, I'm not sure how much better these songs would have been. The self titled Voivod album seems to mark the beginning of the direction that their last few albums have headed.

Good review. I really want to hear this, Voivod has always been one of my more favourite bands.

This is a damn good album. A lot of catchy choruses; more like an Alternative release than a metal one.
