Crast is interested, and I'm interested too...
And Crimson is a classic. I've said it before, in this thread.

Do some Quartz!

Love me some Quartz!

I really want to put in a classic from that ilk soon. Quartz, Cloven Hoof, and Angel Witch are all worthy candidates and eventually I would like to put them all up here. I will probably get to Angel Witch first, seeing how ganesha has been so, ahem, patient.

Oh and Walnut, since you brought it up, any preference on Quartz between the self-titled and Stand Up and Fight?

Stand Up and Fight!

The Tea Party "The Edges of Twilight"
Awesome album. It should be reviewed.

Devin Townsend -- Ocean Machine - Biomech

An album this beautiful deserves nothing less than a classic review.

Queen- a Night at the Opera

This one's a classic without a doubt.

Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane

I'm actually surprised it's not already there, I could have sworn I had seen it reviewed, but I don't see it now.

I agree, I have written a review for this album which can be found on various metal sites, but for this site to not acknowledge it as a classic is shocking.

ya know, just because an album is a good album, even an excellent album, doesn't automatically mean it is a classic.

It is.
Though it has it's share of what some would consider to be filler (an all-too-common affliction for that era), whilst others will say it is merely variety...

Aerosmith - Rocks is another album I would deem a classic, though no filler on this one; lean, hungry (in fact it is downright gaunt) and as dirty as a jailhouse syringe from start to finish... well except maybe Home Tonight, but even that's not bad as far as ballads go.

Don't know if there are any reviews for Judas Priest's "Sad Wings of Destiny" or "Sin After Sin." Both are absolute classics...and probably two of the most influential heavy metal albums of all time.
