don't buy this;

1. against his family's wishes
2. after the Control Denied bit it's all filler

don't let the label cash in on his death!

BTW, the Within The Mind tribute (directed by none other than James Murphy) featuring members of Kataklysm, Immolation, Malevolent Creation, Chimaira, Slipknot, CKY, etc. is in the making. can't wait!

The release has a plausible album score contained within it's title.

ZERO.

This is the worst shit ever to be released under Schuldiner's name. Were he alive today, he would never have wanted this to be released in its current half-finished form.

Fuck you, Karmageddon Media. Let Schuldiner's brain-cancer-ravaged corpse rest in peace, and quit raping it.

What a shame. I loved Chuck's work and it's sad to see some label whoring his name out in such a fashion. No wonder his family objected as Chuck wouldn't have realeased such shit to his fans.

I haven't posted since the day I registered, mostly due to the fact that I had a long move. But, as soon as I was able, I got online and checked all I had missed in the metalreviews world. I saw this and immediately felt that my next post should be here.

Chuck leaves behind a legacy that progresses infinitely beyond what this shoddy quick cash release attempts to display. The label should be ashamed for their incomprehensible lack of respect for such a (and I use this term RARELY) musical genius. I heard two tracks from it (the first two) as my friend purchased this album, and clearly the label was not trying to release the album Chuck would have wanted. They weren't even trying to release the album the fans would want to hear, although that would have been equally offensive. The fact of the matter is, the label knew that slapping Chuck's name on this album would cause thousands of people who loved Chuck's work to purchase it. And I'm sure that some truly understanding fans purchased this album believing that it was what Chuck wanted. The truth is, we will never know if chuck would have wanted the new Control Denied material released, but I'm sure we can all be farely sure that, at least, he would not have wanted it released like this. So, fuck karmageddon, and all the asshole executives that decided to use this (figuratively speaking) piss on Chuck's grave to line their pockets with some extra spending money.

RIP Chuck. Your music serves as an unfathomable and constant source of inspiration and pure musical listening happiness to me and millions of others around the world.

Very pathetic of the label. I seen this cd today when I was looking around for random cds and It was tempting, but I figured I would be giving them money for something that chuck most likely would not want to be released.
