Just poking fun at the way he wrote it.

Yeah.

I knew wasn't gonna get anything else out of you, so I just made it official by announcing it everyone.

Fuck! Tongue-in-cheek is hard on a forum.

About Blood Tsunami, I like them, but this record is "more of the same" that first one, so is far for being in my top albums of this year. Perhaps it could reach the 5 position in my top 5 thrash, but it depends of the thrash records I listen the rest of the year. For example, at this moment, Kreator, Artillery & Voivod are over this one.

Still got new Megadeth, Slayer, At War, and Sacrifice to come out.

Don't get on wrong on this, because I fucking love Kreator and I love Hordes of Chaos, but there's a very strong case to be made that it's "more of the same" from Enemy of God.

So I don't think you're being totally fair.

Yes, in fact I thought of you (not in a gay way) when I saw the album. You called their first effort "possibly the best Melodic Death album ever made" or something like that. It seems your adulation was worthless

Aw, thanks man. I'll have to drop them a smiley-faced email. Are they signed yet?

Perhaps i'm not fair, but I think Hordes of chaos is a great improvement over Enemy of God, that was good but not as great as this one.

And I prefer Thrash Metal to Grand Feast for Vultures. First 5 songs are great, but One Step Closer to the Grave and specially Eceladus Rising are overlong and boring. I skip these tracks when I listen to the album. And I think that's really the problem with that album, than I only found interesting and great first half.

And about best albums of the year, now listening (second listen) to Destroyer 666 - Defiance and it's a contender in my list.

Never was able to get into them.

Gave the two new tracks on myspace a go...

Very much a matter of personal taste, but they're a little too deathy for me.

PD: Reasons? Rio can explain it with better words than me.

Meh... I may be thinking of a different band, but I find their cacophony too thin. Compare it to Swedish Death like Vomitory, a full-on, deep sound that is like being in a thick, dense snowstorm... D666 just seem depthless. I'll try 'em again though, since generally rio is good people with good tastes in Metal.

It's not pure death metal. It's deathly blackened thrash. Nor death, neither thrash, neither black. But it rocks, and it's not depthless. Try' em again, but sometimes a band just don't click.

Maybe it's the Thrash and Black bits sitting uneasy with me...

New Destroyer 666 is the album of the year for me tied with Gorod and Ulcerate. Amazing.
