I don't care about the name. I like many bands with far worse names. My problem is that I love 80s rock, and these clowns are capable of being a solid rock band, yet they turd it up with the whole parody gimmick. It's fucking stupid.

Meh, the parody gimmick can be positive or negative. I personally find it adds an extra point in favour of a genre that otherwise has unremarkable lyrics. At least in Steel Panther it's not just the music the matters.

They sound awful and they try way to hard to be a parody band but fail big time.

Trying to be an over the top parody of bands that were over the top to begin with is sort of like listening to a Rosie O'Donnell impersonator.

Im just gonna say that this review is completely unnecessary, this band is a fucking shame and Fridge i cant believe that on your first week as a reviewer you decided to review this, seriously other than to create debate with your high score what was the point of reviewing a mock up metal band?.

Because the music is actually good. Did you even read the review? "OMG the band isn't serious with what they do, I can't listen to them or admit that they might have some bit of skill." For some reason everyone I've recommended them to listen to loved it. Might be the fact that they didn't know about them before and don't care about the lyrics?

1) Lordi are nowhere near as good as Gwar.
2) Both Lordi and Gwar write good music.
3) The 69 Eyes are boring.
4) The Killers are awesome, but the wrong scene for this site.
5) I neither know nor want to know the Arctic Monkeys or Coldplay.

Ok look I want to be fair about this so I'll just sit back and watch your reviews.

Just remember Frigid you're a very controversial person here be careful what you review just saying.

And I have a wider taste in music myself which is why I'm letting down on you.

And I like Gwar and Lordi. Some more Gwar reviews will be well received, at least for me.

PD: I haven't really listened Steel Panther, only one or two songs, I can't give an opinion about them.
