Body of Lies - I liked this. The interraction/contrast between Leo and Russel Crowe's characters was fun, and the ending made me cringe a little.

Mallcop. Very funny movie and IMO deserving of better than a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Kingdom of Heaven

Further proof that Orlando Bloom is the most useless actor ever. In every film he does the same thing, just walk around staring prettily at everyone and speaking in his monotonous eunuch voice. Not even Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson could save it. Add the fact that it was like 4 hours long... Bah.

My problem with Kingdom of Heaven is that it was like "Hey, we will show both sides of the conflict! Uh oh, there's no clear bad guy to be defeated... wtf do we do now?" *big battle anyways*

I thought Body of Lies might have the same problem, but it never went too far into the motivations of terrorism, other than the Auden quote at the start and then one or two lines in the movie.

But Bodies Of Lies was just boring. That George Clooney one from ages ago said the same thing better; heck, even The Kingdom was more entertaining.

Taken - Cool enough, a little overrated though.
Yes Man - Brightened my mood at least.

Maybe it's because I just watched The International right before it but I thought Body of Lies was entertaining.

neither and both at the same time.

all it is is the same movie he did in 2006, but this character is much much gayer.

and if you thought the naked wrestling scene was bad, then you ain't seen nothin' yet.

I will say this, I will see it again. my seats were horrible, 2nd row from the bottom. my neck is killing me.

Man, right up the front is what the cinema is all about.

Sit as close as possible, have the screen take up as much of your vision as it possibly can. Sure you miss half the action, if it's a big action movie, and you have to go see it again, but it's the only way to get that epic "I just had an experience" feeling that you don't get with a DVD.

EDIT: oh, and I also saw Bruno. Taken as a sequel to Borat, it's one of the best sequels of all time.

I saw Bruno last night as well.

Enjoyed it, although it's basically Borat again. Lol @ the Ron Paul bit... I've never seen anyone look that uncomfortable.

I finally bought Clueless on DVD. Someday, I'm also going to need to buy the Legally Blonde movies (yeah, I liked Legally Blonde 2, despite the fact that it was panned by most critics).

Bruno was hilarious; not as good as Borat, but more than that movie, it's meant to expose your prejudices as well as the people he speaks to in the movie. Watching audience members squirm was worth the ticket price. And some scenes, like the pilot testing scene, or the hunting expedition, were just awesome. And the looks of terror and horror on the faces of that wrestling crowd... priceless.

Yeah... I agree with you. A little shocking though some times. The scene at the psycic was priceless

+1. Everytime he opens his mouth it's like he's reading a poem or something. So fucking embarrasing. Even though the film itself is entertaining, IMO. Not necessarily good, because there are so many other movies in this style that has been done WAY better... Gladiator and Braveheart to name just a couple. Heck, even Troy was entertaining (even though Bloom was even more useless there). That scene where he fights for the right to have the lady is just hilarious... when he runs away like someone just pulled down his pants or something.

Yeah, but at least in Troy he was kind of believable as the pathetic little pretty boy younger brother who drives his badass older brother to death by being an idiot.
