By the way, it's slightly difficult to know how to respond to this...

For a start, I gave Blut Aus Nord an 80 / 100, you buffoon. And I'd be fascinated to hear why you think Teratism, of all bands, deserve more than 65. Especially given that you conspicuously failed to make that point at the time. This wouldn't just be retrospective nitpicking because the big bad reviewer gave some band you like a lower score than you, would it?

Heh, I think he just went through your reviews, picking out the mid-level scores. Steve's nowhere near krieg enough to have even heard of Teratism.

So, what you're saying is, I have overestimated Stevelovesmoonspell?

I didn't think such a thing were possible, but here we are.

Haha, well, let's remind ourselves what Teratism look like:

Steve'd run a mile. Teratism have a new one out, by the by.

One thing about Teratism; they are photogenic.

Btw, @Eternal Idol; Cheers- I was expecting disagreement with the review (although not quite this much nonsensical squawking), so I'm glad there's someone who knows their metal that feels the same way about the album as me. Makes me feel less of a weirdo...

Aw, you're not a weirdo. Amazing how hyped this album is, though, Blabbermouth gave it a very high score.

What, my opinion isn't good enough any more? I only scored it a few points higher than you.

Hey, you too Goat :)

It's just that EI explicitly said he agreed with all the points I made, particularly about it not being "evil" enough, which is a nice thing to read.

I know who they are goat I have Pure Unadulterated Hate and Invocator Furae Diabolis somewhere in my dorm room. I don't know I have an affinity for that raw stuff, you didn't really seem to address the music that well.

"It’s decent enough, but there are probably more interesting rough ‘n’ ready black metal bands to be unearthed. Try the recent Archgoat release (reviewed here last week) for something that takes a similar starting point and takes things to a higher level. Ultimately, sure, this is “pure unadulterated hate”; there isn’t really that much else there, and no doubt Teratism wouldn’t have it any other way. "

Well gee, its raw black metal not some prog piece, which is understandable because I'm guessing at the time you reviewed this album you probably haven't heard much raw black as I read from what you posted in the Behexen review thread. I take back what I said about your score for the new Archgoat though.
*shudders You shouldve scored it lower.

But all in all maybe it would be more constructive to say you should check out some more of the bands in the genre or wait maybe youll score them lower because of the production and what not.

Oh and yea I was kinda let down by your review for Blut Aus Nord.

Sorry, steve, but this is pretty fucking pathetic. You obviously have something against me, which is fine as far as I'm concerned, because you're clearly a bit of a bell-end, but it takes the piss a bit when you're monopolising a review thread with this shite.

As I haven't seen any evidence of this vendetta before (picking "holes" in reviews I did many months ago seems a bit desperate, especially given that you obviously had nothing to say at the time), I have to assume it's because you're still teary-eyed over the fact that I don't like Goatwhore.

By the way, I can't actually make out what you're trying to say in 60% of your post. You keep bringing up Behexen, for no apparent reason. And then you jabber something incomprehensible about me not having heard enough raw black metal.

Get a fucking grip on yourself, cockrash.

I don't really care that you don't like Goatwhore, and why the hell would I have something against you? A bit of that post was to Goat for saying I don't know who Teratism are which I do. Maybe if you would read the post instead of pretending you don't know what I'm saying you would ascertain that I give way on some of your views. Hah apparently we have the same problem because I'm not quite sure what a "bell-end" is haha. Either way your older reviews are fragmented, and when I said you didn't know enough about raw black metal I was talking about the time you reviewd Teratism and Behexen.

Not sure, but when you say things like this:

stevelovesmoonspell wrote:

and this:

stevelovesmoonspell wrote:
the guy before zad can't review for shit though.

and this:

stevelovesmoonspell wrote:
Maybe Charles could review it considering he can't review Behexen or Goatwhore.

it kinda gives off that impression, don't you think?

Steve.

You can find a useful definition of "bell-end" by proceeding to your nearest mirror and peering into it.

You obviously do care, because you are unearthing stuff I wrote ages ago, and finding extremely tenuous "faults" in them, in some zany crusade to present me as ignorant about the stuff I review. I can't see why you would do this if you didn't have a problem with me.

Of course you gave way on some of my views. Your criticisms of them were a load of garbled teenage whimperings in the first place. Why is it a surprise that you chicken out when someone calls you on the shit you are talking?

Please, enlighten me as to why my Behexen review shows that I need to listen to more raw black metal? And the Teratism one as well, because when I asked you to explain that, all I got was "durr you realise it's not prog right?".

So, either explain yourself, or take the advice of Adam, Goat, Metal_xxx, and myself, and leave this thread.

So if a review pisses you off in the future how about you take some time to think before acting like a twat, eh?

Can we get back on track now? Is there anyone who doesn't prefer Soilent Green to Goatwhore, and if not, why?

I'd take Soilent Green over Goatwhore any day of the week. Soilent Green are awesome, though.

Soilent Green > Goatwhore. Never really liked Goatwhore too much, tbh.
