Can't go wrong with something that opens with Invincible Force. When i saw them play that tune gave me goosebumps.

:dio:

EDIT: Oh, and closes with Black Death!

You know usually with a review like this I give a story about how I got it or something. Then I comment on how good this review is, etc...

All I am going to say this time is...

'bout damn time.

Good review Thomas, this is a fucking classic and one of the best thrash albums ever.

BTW the track is called "Total Desaster" not "Total Devastation".

I have this, but I need to listen to it more. I never listened to Destruction as much as Kreator or Sodom, in spite of their great songs.

Never's enough Destruction, Devastation & Desaster. For example, there's no Devastation or Desaster reviews.

Missed this one (been in the mountains for a week).
I still have the original cassettes of both of these.
SoD is a bit weak (compared to Infernal Overkill), but it has it's moments.
Infernal Overkill is indeed a classic, though. Good to see this get the attention it deserves.

Standouts for me are Bestial Invasion, Black Death, Invincible Force, The Ritual and Tormentor.
