I thought Con Air was a bit crap, apart from Steve Buscemi. Even Malko was strangely boring. Any scene of The Rock without Shawn Connery is terrible, and Travolta was awful in Faceoff. Oh and bloody hell but National Treasure 2 was a pile of bollocks.

I don't think CGI is really to blame - crappy movies would be just as crappy without it and movies like Pan's Labyrinth, The Fall and Sunshine have shown that it can be extremely effective - and remakes are hardly a new thing.

Read it properly + it's humorous = stfu, noodles.

Just finished The Elephant Man. Bawled like a baby through most of it, John Hurt's performance is amazing. Lynch is a genius for this alone.

I hate CGI (generally speaking of course). That "I Am Legend" movie was damn near butchered by it. There's absolutely no reason they couldn't have gotten live people to play the zombies. They looked like total garbage in CGI, and live people would've done a much better job.

Well, I didn't cry, but yeah, anyone that doesn't hurt inside after watching this, is quite simply a soulless creature.
Saw it way back when and never really wanted to see it again, even though it is a brilliant piece of movie-making.

Anvil! The Story of Anvil. - This was really good. I had an array of different emotions watching this. Overall though, I felt compassion and really wanted them to have a comeback. Seriously, metal fans need to watch this. 9/10

Oh man i really want to watch this i love Anvil.

It amazes me how immature people in their 50's can actually be. Some of their thought process is just plain idiotic, but at the same time you really feel compassion for them. Their dedication and enthusiasm about their new material makes me want to start my Anvil collection. I need to get their older stuff first though.

I watched this yesterday and oh man it was awesome, there are some heart touching moments that make you feel symphathy for those guys, i really wish that they would sell more albums and made me feel bad that the only Anvil album i own its Back to Basics, the relationship with Lips and Robb and their attitude towards life its pretty inspiring, the tagline "At fourteen, they made a pact to rock together forever. They meant it." sums this film pretty well, if you call yourself a metal fan you should watch this. 9/10.

Yes John Hurt was stunning and the scene of "I am not an animal!" was... tough to watch to say the least.

You know the worst part about it? They aren't supposed to be bloody zombies, but vampires! They truly fucked up a great story in that film and then poured salt in the wounds with the crappy monsters.

Saw Being John Malkovich. Bloody hilarious and twisted! It packs a bag full of WTF-LOL-moments.

Oh that was both disturbing and extremely fun at the same time. I can't quite pick which scene was the sickest one, but the ending is a prime contender. Jesus...

Plus Leaving Las Vegas.

Never seen that. Any good?

It's the most engrossing depiction of an alcoholic ever, Cage is brilliant. Straight-edge mofos like Stefano can't appreciate it.

Yes, I know you're not s-e.

Gigantic - This had some interesting characters and dialogue but the plot was kinda weak. The characters didn't really do anything so much as stuff arbitrarily happened to them.

Cadillac Records - Good music. Not much of a story, but good music. Should've chosen one or two people and focused more on them.

Valkyrie - pretty damn good, I was surprised.

Ball Out: Gary the Tennis Coach - a couple wtf lol moments, but in the end very forgettable. Randy Quaid needs to retire.

House of 1000 Corpses - fucked. Devils Rejects is better.

Public Enemies. Oh god yes, Mann is on his game here.

I think it's probably my favourite Mann film, though to be honest his films were always just "good" to me. This one is great.

Every shot, every music cue is spot on. And he has the balls to make the cops into the bad guys. Stunning, stunning film. I hope it cleans up at the oscars.

DW - does not disappoint, go check it out man, it's worth it.

I think if you came on here and told me how horrible it is I would still go see it. But now I really want to see it. Maybe this Friday...

I'll check it out; John Dillinger was a childhood hero of mine, and I really dig that whole depression outlaw thing in general.
