It's emo, and it's crap. I couldn't bring myself to listen to the entire album, I was so appalled by the lack of taste of those posters (posers?) here praising it into the heavens. What's the deal here? Are you forcing yourself to listen to this shit just to polish your façade of openmindedness and arty farty connaissance?

Honestly I'm a bit insulted by this. I listened to metal long before hearing C&C and based on the bashing I constantly heard, I was surprised I enjoyed listening to them. In fact the first time I heard them I didn't even know what band it was and when someone told me I almost fell out of my chair. That being said, I don't think this album is nearly the masterpiece the reviewer makes it out to be (I prefer both Good Apollo and NWFT to this), but I also don't feel the need to bash every band that other people really enjoy and I don't.

Don't worry Adam, you will never be a shit person. You just like shit music and mingle with shit people. That's all.

Eh, there's probably some Dutch synth-pop in your collection that would make us all retch. C&C are well above the average, far better than the radio-friendly morass. I wouldn't call it genius, but neither is it complete shit.

Her voice is awesome. He sounds like someone trying to sing Geddy Lee and Michael Jackson through their nose.

I admit that C&C fronted by Hayley wossername would be marginally better. Still, this guy is far from dreadful, once you're used to him. Admit that you freaked over Robert Plant as well, at first.

I've always felt pretty neutral about Robert Plant (I think? That clip DW is the first time I've listened to LZ in a year and a half). There's some singers, like Cedric Bixler, that I love now where at first I was like "ehh," but with them it was at least split between awesome and annoying; with Coheed's singer it's like any time he's singing I want to turn the music off, no exceptions. :\
