Sounds great. :dio:

I still don't have Victory Songs, but I love the self-titled album and Iron.

I'd just skip over Victory Songs and get From Afar when it comes out if I were you. Haha. Victory Songs is alright, but not worth a full purchase.

In My Opinion, Victory Songs is the best Ensiferum album. Don't get me wrong I love Self Titled and Iron and Wintersun is one of my all-time favorite metal records. But I really think VS is a tad bit better than Iron and S/t. It's just catchier all the way through, I cannot wait for From Afar :dio:

Didnt know this was coming out in a couple of weeks! Im definitely buying this. I agree with the reviewer, Victory Song was a relatively average album when compared to the rest of their work (although Raised by the Sword is one of their best songs).

I should check these guys out. I LOVE Wintersun...so their first two at least should hit the spot. This looks pretty damn good too.

If Ensiferum, Rhapsody, and Bal-Sagoth were able to legally marry and have a completely legitimate child, I have a feeling it would sound JUST like this.

Nice.

I had no idea that these guys had a new album out. I'll have to check it out.

The review got me excited, I hope I'm not disappointed! The only album I really dig is the debut, even Iron didn't do much for me

Well this is definitely not their S/T, or Iron. It's just really, really good, and I think Ensiferum has done much to improve their sound and make a unique folk metal album.

Another great album, probably their weakest so far but still very very good.

My review yo.

I must have missed this one. I like Ensiferum a bit, I have Victory Songs and Iron. If this is better than I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Thanks for the review.

Awesome! I love their s/t and Iron, but like you, thought Victory Songs was pretty subpar and average. Glad to hear they're back on form.

Twilight tavern! What a song! Even better than Token of time for me... than again the "From Afar" track didn´t work for me at all

Great album

PS: Someone who loves this and haven´t checked out a band called Equilibrium should do so now!
