I discovered this project about six months ago, and I must say I like it very much. The album would benefit a lot with a better production and a real drummer. And you're right about some songs sounding the same, but it's ok because it's his first album. 80 for me. Recommended for fans of Suidakra, Moonsorrow and Ensiferum.

Interesting to see this band getting attention from outside the country. Not the best Canada has to offer but an occasionally enjoyable act for sure.



I think a statement like this is a little misleading. This isn't something I'd recommend the average fan of Suidakra and Ensiferum (considering many of them don't find bands like Moonsorrow their cup of tea either, as its a little more "serious" in comparison). The reviewer had it right with the later Bathory and Summoning influences, and I think as far as the fan base goes those two acts would be more a reflection of who would enjoy this.
