For now just saw the vid for Ov Fire and the Void. The song is awesome, but the vid itself is hilarious.

The Apostasy was better, I think (completely free of filler, not sure what James is on about there!) but this is pretty good stuff.

Is this a concept album about giant robots?

No. No, it isn't.

Been lurking for ages, finally had to register for this album.

I've been scouring the internet for interviews with Nergal to see if he has any idea what nerds like me associate Evangelion with. Somehow I doubt it, but it would be awesome if he acknowledged the Anime in question (I would totally listen to a concept album about Eva by the way).

As to the music itself: pretty good, despite my only previous experience with Behemoth being Thelema.6. It'll probably take quite a few spins to really get a solid opinion though.

I'm not a fan of Behemoth, but I would so listen to this album if it was about NGE.

No way come on. Apostasy definitely had some filler. I would say this has some weaker moments, but nothing that really qualifies as filler. A 92 is a bit high, but the review itself is mostly dead on except that he liked it a bit more overall than myself. Good stuff :dio:

Evangelion = gospel. Not some silly mecha anime, heh. Anyway.. this album is pretty good, but I still prefer Thelema.

So this album is pretty solid. The CD quality seems to be much better than the leak I downloaded a while back. This album is going to only get better with time I'm thinking.

I really don't get what James meant by Demigod being a decline and Apostasy having filler. Prometherion and Christgrinding Avenue are two of Behemoth's best tracks.

Damn good album. I wasn't too impressed with the previous one, but this one is a step back in the right direction. (The goal of which is Thelema.6 of course!)

I managed to pick up the digipack version of this CD while at BrutalAssault (for 10€!) and I must say that the packaging is fucking ace!

So, if you have the chance, fuck downloading this, go find the digipack!

.:crast:.

For some reason I thought I was alone in viewing Thelema.6 as their best.

I thought you were too. And I'm kinda thinking you should be. Have you people not heard Satanica or Zos Kia Cultus?

As for Evangelion, the back and forth between the guitar and Inferno at the beginning of Daimonos is so bad ass. There are so many times in this album that make me pump my fist while driving. I can't wait to hear it live. Especially good live would be Alas, Lord is Upon Me. Damn that is an awesome track, so brooding and so heavy. Oh and right as Fire and the Void cuts out and Transmigrating (I believe) comes in it is so cool.

Satanica is the only DM Behemoth I've not listened to. Zos Kia Cultus is a'ight but a step down from Thelema.

If you like the 'moth I'd track it down.
