I thought you were too. And I'm kinda thinking you should be. Have you people not heard Satanica or Zos Kia Cultus?

Satanica is the only DM Behemoth I've not listened to.
If you like the 'moth I'd track it down.

Completely agree, Satanica is an amazing album, possibly my favorite of theirs

Ceremony of Shiva is their best song IMO.

I need to give it more spins, but so far I like it better than Apostacy by far.The production is soo much better, those Rammstein studio guys bug me.songwise,i'm not sure.Good solos,Inferno steal the show tenfold.

I'd rate Satanica right under Thelema. Thelema just has more memorable songs for me.

It's pretty high up there. I don't find Thelema at all memorable. Christians and Antichristian, other than that, it's never really caught my liking.

Natural Born Philosopher anyone? Their best song imo, the lyrics are especially awesome.

This album is pretty solid, but I think I liked Behemoth more live.

A video for Alas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b5FbNAt ... r_embedded

Didn't make much sense but it was brutal whatever the hell it was :dio:

PS: This is the censored version. The uncensored is on metalblade's site.

Behemoth has such an incredible sound; one of the very best in metal. If only they were good instead of just average songwriters they would be incredible.

Kinda like Nevermore in a sense.

BLASPHEMY!

I hope Nergal doesn't die as well, too many amazing musicians are dying lately.

After listening to Evangelion thoroughly, I can't see it as anything more than a boring album. It lacks any and all of the momentous moments of Zos Kias Cultus and Demigod, and the riffing is toothless save a few songs and a few moments intersparsed through all of the filler.

I can see what he's saying though. It doesn't stop me from loving them though. The live show and consistently solid work easily makes up for it.

Are you serious? I think Evangelion is great! Zos Kia Cultus is slightly better and Demigod, well... It's Demigod.
But then again, I'm a fanboy.

Nergal is in his early to mid thirties I think, so don't worry yet.

Yeah, I can criticize a band while loving them too, right?

Their sound is unbeatable, yet I find myself wandering through their albums as that awesome sound blurs together too frequently.

Incredible musicians though.

Oh no definitely. I'm on the same page with you for the most part.
