Hey people,

I need some help. I found out about some huge festival in Tilburg called Incubate. They have 200 acts playing, and currently the sole reason for me going is that Anaal Nathrakh is playing.

So, I can choose to pay 10€ for that one evening, or, I could pay like 50€ and get the whole week. My question to you guys is the following: Are there any other bands that I should see?

http://incubate.org/2009/acts

.:crast:.

The ones I've heard of:

The Damned - punk heroes
Wardruna - Gaahl's folk lot, no?
Anaal - :dio:
Misery Signals - meh
Kayo Dot - jazz/prog
:of the wand and the moon: - neofolk, pretty cool
Manatees - post-sludge
Altar Of Plagues - Rio reviewed them

and then I stopped reading. Looks pretty alternative/folk/experimental overall...

Some high quality acts there. Seems like a really cool festival, although most of the acts I haven't heard of. I dig these high/popular culture mashups.

Kayo Dot make this a must-see, frankly. They're not coming anywhere near here on their UK tour.

As long as there's plenty of beer I'd hit it up the whole week. Festivals are rad.

Assuming that was directed at me, I think you misread me somewhat :) I know about the UK tour, it's just they're not playing my neck of the woods at all.

Don't forget Der Blutharsch, Deutsch Nepal on Sunday!

In my eyes the Wednesday will be fantastic: Anaal Nathrakh with FUBAR: grind your heart out :dio:

Oh and the Nitsch guy is really awesome as well (if you're into it..:) ) really looking forward to the special Marhaug performance (with Manheim (Ex-Mayhem) and Jon Wesseltoft (Thorns)), and Justice Yeldham (glass, noise, blood etc.)

anyway: like this whole culture mash thing as well!
