Decent album, but it gets boring quickly. A HUGE step up from their previous one though. I will admit, none of the albums sound alike. Nosferatu sounded like they took a heaping of Maiden, a spoonful of Lost Horizon and a dash of Helloween and mixed thoroughly. Book of the Dead sounded more hard rock/metal, losing all Maiden/LH/Helloween influences. Tabula sounds heavier, darker, more agressive...again without the debut influences.

It'd be funny if a band named their album Tabula Rasa and all you got was a blank CD.

I think its interesting that most power-metal bands, Bloodbound being no exception, start off with hardcore Maiden/JP influences, then move on to speedier Helloween-like stuff, and then get darker and heavier.

Personally, I'll take their debut over this any time. It may have been blatant Maiden rip-offery but goddamn, it was more catchy and fun than this, which to me sounds like a less good Masterplan (who aren't even that great)

I liked their debut, what I heard of second album didn't impress so I gave it a miss, and haven't felt the urge to get this one.

Wow, kinda luke warm reviews for such an impressive album? This is my favorite album this year so far! I love the heavy and modern sound and I thought the song writing was top notch!

This album to me sounds like an even mix of Tad Morose and In Flames with Tad Morose winning out a little due to Urban Breeds incredible vocals......

I've always liked this band, but the samples from this one do sound kind of week. I'll still give it a shot, just because their previous two are so damn awesome.

One of my fave albums of the year, right behind the latest Marshall Law (a band I never really like but was blown away by their latest).
