I liked it, as a diversion, and, yes, a bit of parody. But stale and formulaic it is not, so perhaps that promo-speak had something right in it. Anyway, Stolen Babies and Estradasphere absolutely have to mentioned in the same sentence, although if compositionally speaking Swing Diablo Orchestra were getting anywhere close to Estradasphere, it would have really pushed the envelope then.
