Up to their latest CD, no. I saw them live after and then you'll beg was released and the man is most certainly not overrated.

When I saw them he was good but not amazing and his drum solo was really bad. On their albums he sounds like other brootal technical drummers. Also dudes behind kits that big just look silly. Dunno maybe I'm missing something since I'm not a drummer.

Out of curiosity who would you rate higher than Flo? lol. I mean calling him overrated is just kinda silly, man. He blew it up when I saw them live.

Do people really overrate Amon Amarth, though? I think they're just mostly regarded for their consistency. I have all of their albums, but I'm not like " omfg Amon Amarth " yaknow?

I'd have to add Tool to my list. Although I love them, I don't understand the unending hype people seem to give them.

Haven't heard enough Megadeth to say for sure; I have liked what I have heard.

Yeah, but I've met my fair share of people who all say "omg Amon Amarth is, like, amazing," when all that I've heard is not very amazing. Decent, but not amazing.

Blind Guardian = best band on the planet. So there you go. That equation proves that Blind Guardian are not overrated and are actually the best band on the planet.

I think Vs. the world is arguably one of the best albums they've made, I don't know they do the same thing with the same album they make so it does get tedious.

Devin Townsend

Most the stuff he is involved with is decent, but not great.
