Yeah, Jessica Alba looks a bit too vacant. Like she's a robot or something. Seen Easy Virtue? Biel actually can act.

Away We Go - Liked this quite a bit although it didn't have the same manic-ness that Dave Eggers' writing does.

Oh don't get me wrong, I likes me some Jessica Alba to. And I may be a minority here, but I like Jessica Simpson to. Not for acting, but for looks.

Me and a few friends watched some horror movies last night, the only one I hadn't seen was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Good movie, even if the kids with the van were downright stupid..

The remake, though being nowhere near as good as the original, is still not as bad as some have made it out to be.
It's not great, but, it's not as bad as, say, House of 1000 Corpses, for instance.

Hmmmyup. Since the original is one of the most overrated films ever made it really didn't have much to live up to, right enough.

Plus the remake had Zangief in it. :dio:

One of Woody's better recent ones. And yes, not just because of CR, although the goddess of doom is a big plus in its favour.

Hoping to see Paranormal Activity soon. I don't watch horror movies often (since most are crap anymore) but this one looks fucking great.

Zombieland--really fun and really good...IMO much much better than Shaun of the Dead in terms of zombie parody films. Woody Harrelson is too awesome in this movie.

Where the Wild Things Are--I really really liked it. Everything about it is just so cool...great soundtrack, great visuals, cute story that also makes you think--just a really cool vibe. Great job from the kid who plays the lead role, it's not often that an actor that young truly successfully carries a film like he does.

His recent comedies blend together to me. They're all entertaining but his bantery dialogue kind of makes it hard to get into the characters since everything they say just sounds like him. I should probably watch his old/classic movies someday.

Brothers Bloom - It was fun and it had something to say, but it was a little hard to get into the story. Characters were kinda one dimensional or something.

I liked it a lot too. There were a lot of big names in it, which I thought was kind of weird.

Saw this last night and I really like it. It's got a cool atmosphere and some pretty scary parts.
